Our children deserve a high-quality education, and parents deserve to have a say in what happens in their children’s schools and classrooms.
Teachers and parents are partners in working toward the shared goal of ensuring that students succeed in school and in life. Teachers need resources, support and a fair evaluation system that provides feedback and encourages excellence in classroom practice. Let’s work together to make good teachers better and better teachers great.

Rally for Respect!
Thousands of teachers, parents and students gathered at Freedom Plaza on Oct. 8 for the "Rally for Respect," demanding fairness, transparency and better schools for D.C.'s children.
